In Omnitive Graph, there are two types of access control:

  1. User groups who can view and edit a graph

  2. User groups who can only view a graph

By default, admin users have "view and edit" access to all the graphs

Grant a user group "view and edit" graph access

To grant a user group "view and edit" graph access:

  1. Enter the All graphs page, and find the graph that you want to update the graph access

  2. Click More

  3. In the dropdown, click Sharing settings

  4. In the modal, enter the user group name in the field User group(s) who can view and edit the graph

  5. Select the user group from the dropdown

  6. Click Save

Once the graph access is granted, users in the corresponding user groups can view and edit knowledge in the graph.

Grant a user group "view only" graph access

To grant a user group "view only" graph access:

  1. Enter the All graphs page, and find the graph that you want to update the graph access

  2. Click More

  3. In the dropdown, click Sharing settings

  4. In the modal, enter the user group name in the field User group(s) who can only view the graph

  5. Select the user group from the dropdown

  6. Click Save

Once the graph access is granted, users in the corresponding user groups can only view the knowledge in the graph.
