By enabling Configuration of Filters for Search UI, the end result would provide user the ability to conduct search that is highly customisable which clarifies the user’s intent and refine results shown.

How to Customize UI Filters:

  1. Go to the Omnitive Search Dashboard.

  2. Click on Search Configuration. If there are no pre-existing Classes created before, Search Admin will be directed to a Default Landing Page consisting of Generic filters (ie. Modified date & Promoted Content history) for selection. If there were Classes created before, the user should be directed to the Updated Landing Page showing all the available Classes created before and the respective Graphs in which they are related to.

6. To create a customized filter groups consisting of desired filters, drag and drop to group the filters together.

3. Click on the button to update the table of classes. The classes which were already selected as filters within the Search UI will remain while new classes added in Graph will show on the Filters table. 4. Click on button to view all the selected filters in the Search UI. 5. To arrange the order of filters, drag and drop to move any filters within the Search UI filter panel on the right side.

7. Click to Save all changes.
