# Review Connector Progress and Performance

This page explains how to review the performance of the implemented connector.

After creating the connectors, the data from the repository needs to be loaded (ingested). The [ingest](/omnitive-search/faq/glossary.md#e-k) process needs to be started to [crawl](/omnitive-search/faq/glossary.md#a-d) and [index](/omnitive-search/faq/glossary.md#e-k) for the first time.

Note: You just have to ingest once only for an index. Do not ingest more than once because any subsequence ingest will create duplicate index. If the administrator needs to re-index due to corrupted or duplicate index, refer to the topic [Maintaining Omnitive Search Server.](/omnitive-search/additional-information/archive/search-administration/maintaining-taiger-search-server.md#i-data-re-indexing)

When data need to be updated, the administrator can sync the index. 

### How to Review Connector Progress and Performance:

1. Go to the Omnitive Search Dashboard.
2. Click on `Connector Manager`.
3. The ingest, sync and [post-processing](/omnitive-search/faq/glossary.md#l-r) processes can be managed in the `Connector Details` page. You can `start`, `stop` and see the statuses of the processes.

4\. In order to ensure that content is syncing properly, you can manually Sync or setup `Auto-Sync` in the Connector Details page.
