# Configure Connectors

### Uses of Connector Manager

A connector manager can be used to:\
\-  create connectors to data repository\
\- delete a connector\
\- view a connector configuration\
\- edit a connector\
\- ingest an index\
\- sync an index\
\- postprocess an index\
\- monitor the crawl and index.

### Steps to Create a new connector

To create a new connector

1\. Go to the Omnitive Search Dashboard.\
2\. Click on Create Connector under Connector Manager.\
3\. Select a connector type to configure.\
4\. Configure the connector.
