Promote Content

This page explains how to promote content in Omnitive Search.

Search results which have been promoted will be displayed first. The of the promoted search results can also be customised by the search administrator. The promotion can either be permanent or for a specific date range. Promoted search results will have a promoted badge to distinguish them from the normal search results.

How to Promote Content:

  1. Go to the Omnitive Search Dashboard.

  2. Type the keyword in the Search Bar and click .

3. Hover on the result and click on the Settings button. Then, click on the Promoted Content button.

5. To delete the document, click on Delete this Document button.

How to view promoted content history:

  1. Go to the Omnitive Search Dashboard.

  2. Click on the Show button under Promoted Content on the right column and check the box. Select the date range.

4. Select Yes if the search result needs to be made into a promoted content. Fill in the priority of the promoted content, with 1 being in the top of the search results. If you would like to set the promotion duration, check the box for setting promotion duration and fill up the date range. Click to save the changes to promoted content.

Type the keyword in the Search Bar and click .
